Cox and Kings, one of the world’s most favoured travel companies, wanted to wow the foreign tourists travelling on the Deccan Odyssey. Modeled on ‘The Palace on Wheels’, this royal and resplendent trip is a favourite with tourists who visit India. Knowing our knack for coming up with unique products, Cox and Kings approached us to help them out.
Keeping the brief in mind, we came up with the concept of distributing eye-catching, giveaways to every foreign guest on the train. Based on a design idea from Cox & Kings, we created a number of samples, ranging from a canvas print to a UV printed white plaque, for their consideration.
Eventually, Cox & Kings chose a layered acrylic memento that they felt was aristocratic, evocative, and said all the right things about themselves and the hospitable qualities that embody India.
Using a mix of white and clear acrylic cut-outs, and paper prints cut with a machine-like dexterity, we crafted an impressive remembrance that had a delightful historic, illusory, and welcoming aura about it. What’s more, we crafted 500 such pieces in a small matter of just 2 days.
Happily, all the hard work was well worth it. For one, Cox & Kings were delighted by the response and recall the keepsake generated for their brand. And, two, the tourists went back home with great memories of India. Quite frankly, we couldn’t have asked for more.
All this to say this: if you’re looking for ideas that add value to your brand, we look forward to hearing from you.
