In recent times most top recruiters are turning to social media platforms to prospect for and hire employees. LinkedIn, one of the world’s most prestigious social media sites for professionals, knows this better than others and decided it wanted to reward its top social recruiters by giving them something really unique, eye-catching, and apt. They called on us with the brief. Having worked with LinkedIn before, we were more than happy to take LinkedIn up on the offer.
Keeping in mind the words associated with LinkedIn, we came up with the idea of the idea of the Cube Awards. Why Cube? Because research revealed that the words that most come to mind when you say cube are intelligence, modernity, and interlinked. Plus, a cube is an easy shape to showcase in style. Happily for us, LinkedIn concurred.
Technically speaking, the Cubes were made of steamed beech wood and polished to a dark shade of smart brown. They were then engraved and colour-filled with white to make the design stand out and ‘pop’. Finally, the LinkedIn logo was placed prominently on top and the cube was nested in a sandwiched acrylic base.
